About
I’m a freelance Flash and Flex developer from Munich, Germany born in 1978. I started working on Websites in the year 1998.
It was quite a struggle in the beginning, coz I learnt everything by doing. I started working with Flash 3.0 and made my first animations. After a few awfull experiments, I got the hang of it. Soon, there came a big project for the german BigBrother, where the application displayed the current position of the people in the house. This was really wicked, coz I (well, we: the rockbox) were one of the first in building dynamic flash applications in Munich. We had to use Macromedia Generator to bring the application live. Does anybody remeber?
After this project, everything just went like a dream. I got several jobs, which all had to do with dynamic Flash. I did quite a lot for Mandigo, which established from the Frauenhofer Institut and focused on the RFID technology. We built really wicked entrance contol systems e.g for conferences, where the attendants had an RFID chip in their ticket. They walked throug a gate, which then launched a 3D Rendered Poser Model to welcome the guests personally on a plasma screen.
From this point on, I was sure I had chosen the right thing to do.
I’ve built several Flash games, small to large scale dynamic Websites and a few RIA.
Right now, I work quite a lot for a company here in munich called BergerBaaderHermes. Check out the site, to see what they do. Really a nice place to work. Great Flash-jobs and really nice people. To see one example just check out jaegermeister.de. I bet you’ll enjoy the site…
One of my recent projects is the Jägermeister Radio Player. It’s a custom Jägermeister Radio station, that uses a Flash application in the Player. You get information about the current song and are able to vote for it, playlists, dynamic Games and many more.
I’ve set this Blog up to
- – finally have my own Website
- inform the world about what I do
- share the cool things related to Flash I find on the Internet
I hope someone comes by and finds anything on this blog usefull.
